Chapter
1
Genesis
Ok, I have spent some good amount of time to compile this very interesting topic! It is going to be at least 3 Chapters long and maybe 4 pages each Chapter. I am summarizing all my notes to keep everything as short as possible since many of my readers will be having a short attention span.
The first Chapter (this one), is the easiest to digest. It is mostly from the Bible so no one should have any problems with Chapter One? I just spent a little time to correlate the Bible verses to actual locations and times? And I used some Logical and Critical Reasoning to challenge the reader to the conclusions.
Each subsequent Chapter gets more thought provoking. And some readers may fall off their chair. Make sure you have carpeting under you.
Since I have taken some good amount of time researching this topic, I would LOVE to hear comments from my readers. Some intellectual comments is greatly appreciated! LOL
- (Genesis 2 verse 10) Now a river flowed out of Eden to water the garden. And from there it divided and became four rivers.
- (Genesis 2 verse 11) The name of the first is Pishon. It flows around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold.
- (Genesis 2 verse 12) The gold of that land is good. Bdellium and onyx stone are there.
- (Genesis 2 verse 13) The name of the second river is Gihon. It flows around the whole land of Cush.
- (Genesis 2 verse 14) The name of the third river is Tigris. It flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.
Ok
so we learn that the Garden of Eden is located between the Tigris and Euphrates
rivers. This is southern Iraq. Close to
the Persian Gulf and next door to Iran, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
Keynote: So now we can say Adam and Eve are
Iraqi’s right? That’s correct!
Adam
was born on 4,000 B.C. or just 6,000 years ago? (If you count back from Jesus
to Adam via the first born listed in the Bible)
The first eleven chapters of the book of Genesis is focused on the area of the Garden of Eden or Southern Iraq or Ancient Mesopotamia. Or …. Sumeria/Sumer! Keep this name in the back of your head “Sumeria”. Also, keep in mind that the bible is referencing “Gold” around the Garden of Eden.
So Noah surely lived in the Mesopotamia area. And the bible says that the Ark that Noah built for the flood came to rest on Mount Ararat, which is the Northern edge of Mesopotamia or eastern Turkey. The Bible also says that the first King of Mesopotamia was Nimrod who is the Grandson of Noah’s son Ham. So Noah remained in Mesopotamia after the flood. (PS. The flood did not take the Ark too far away? Just floated around a couple of hundred miles only?)
Mesopotamia later becomes Babylon and Assyria. So you will see Ham’s grandson Nimrod written about in the Persian history like Epic of Gilgamesh, Genesis of Eridu and The Atrahasis.
Keynote: So far it looks like Jews are still Iraqi’s right? That’s correct! Let me also add that the Jews are Mesopotamians and Babylonians. And the first King of Mesopotamia was Nimrod, Noah’s Great Grandson.
Noah was born on 2,948 B.C. or just 4,948 years ago?
Keynote: Sorry, I couldn’t help it. I am taking a quick detour to correlate the Great Flood story to other Iraqi ancient scripts =>
- The Atrahasis is the Akkadian/Babylonian epic of the Great Flood sent by the gods to destroy human life. Only the good man, Atrahasis (his name translates as `exceedingly wise') was warned of the impending deluge by the god Enki (also known as Ea) who instructed him to build an ark to save himself. Atrahasis heeded the words of the god, loaded two of every kind of animal into the ark, and so preserved life on earth.
- Written down in the mid-17th century BCE, the Atrahasis can be dated by the colophon to the reign of the Babylonian King Hammurabi's great-grandson, Ammi-Saduqa (1646-1626 BCE) though the tale itself is considered much older, passed down through oral transmission.
- The Sumerian Flood Story (known as the `Eridu Genesis') which tells the same story, is certainly older (composed c. 2300 BCE) and Tablet XI of The Epic of Gilgamesh, which also relates the tale of the Great Flood, is even older than that.
- (Gen 15:7) I am YHWH who brought you forth from Ur-Kasdim, to give to you this land [sc. Canaan], to inherit it.
- (Neh 9:7) You are YHWH God, who chose Avram, and you brought him out of Ur of the Chaldeans; and you changed his name to Avraham.
Keynote: The Bible says that Abraham is from the City of Ur which is in Mesopotamia and of which is Sumeria/Sumer. (120 miles North West of the Persian Gulf)? Noah and his son and Grandson stayed near Babylon maybe? Which is 150 miles North of UR?
Abraham was born on 1,996 B.C. or just 3,996 years ago?
So God (YHWH) sends Abraham to the Promised Land! From Ur, Abraham traveled 700 miles to the Northern borders of present-day Iraq, another 700 miles into Syria, another 800 down to Egypt by the inland road, and then back into Canaan - what is now Israel.
The NY Times: When Abraham strode upon the stage at Ur, he was by Semitic reckoning already a man of 75. And Ur was then a capital city of more than 100,000 inhabitants, a place of beauty, graced with towers, palaces, temples, law courts, market squares, statues, shrines, gardens, mosaics, friezes, reliefs and monuments. It was divided into rectangular blocks by paved streets lined with two-story houses. It had its own seaport and man-made canal giving access to the Persian Gulf and the Indian Ocean, opening it up to lucrative foreign markets in the areas we call Africa, India, Malaysia and the Arabian peninsula. Ur was, in fact, part of an empire ruled by a written code of law drawn up by King Hammurabi.
Summary
- God made Adam and Eve at the Garden of Eden.
- Adam, the first human was created only 6,000 years ago? (Very questionable)
- Garden of Eden is between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.
- These rivers are in Iraq and flows into the Persian Gulf.
- This area is now Southern Iraq.
- This area used to be Mesopotamia.
- This area used to be Sumeria/Sumer.
- The entire Iraq and Mediterranean region are Semitic people. Not just Israel or Jews.
- Ur or Iraq or Mesopotamia or Sumeria was a very advanced place 5,000 years ago with roads, planned city, government structure, 2 story houses, complete laws on rentals, marriage, theft, murder etc. …
- Adam and Eve are Iraqis.
- Adam and Eve are Mesopotamians.
- Adam and Eve are Sumerians.
- First king of Mesopotamia is Nimrod, the Great Grandson of Noah. (Any relation to Babylon?)
- Jews are Iraqis.
- Jews are Mesopotamians.
- Jews are Chaldeans (Abraham => City of Ur).
- Jews are Sumerians.
- Maybe all roads lead to Sumeria/Sumer? (This is key!)
