Statue of Kashyapa in Andhra Pradesh, India
Introduction
·
Just
like Kronos is the father of Zeus and Poseidon, Kashyapa is the
father of Indra and Varuna and for the Sumerians, King Anu is the father
of Enlil and Enki. (These are all the same characters.)
·
In
Vedic scripts, Kashyapa is also known as the Vedic Tvasthar. https://www.vedanet.com/vedic-origins-of-the-europeans-the-children-of-danu/
·
The
Caspian Sea and Kashmir, India are named after Kashyapa. Pretty cool
huh?
·
One
of Kashyapa’s wives is the Goddess Danu from the last Chapter,
the Goddess of most of pre-historic Europe and of the Hindus among other
Goddesses. (Chapter 15h)
·
I
am going to delve into the ancient Vedic period once again like in the
previous Chapter.
Kashyapa, Kasyapa,
Kasyap https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kashyapa
Kashyapa (Sanskrit: कश्यप, IAST: Kaśyapa) is a
revered Vedic sage of Hinduism. He
is one of the Saptarishis, the
seven ancient sages of the Vedic text the Rigveda.
Kashmir

Kashmir is a shortened form of "Kashyapa
Mira", or the "lake of the sage Kashyapa". This
is because the legend says that Kashyapa drained a huge lake in that
region to keep the people safe, thus the entire region was named after him. By the way Mira means “Lake”
In the ancient texts of Greece,
1. linked to the expedition of Alexander, this land has been called "Kasperia", possibly a contraction of "Kasyapa Mira".
2. The word "Kaspapyros" appears in Greek geographer Hekataois text, and as
3. "Kaspatyros" in Herodotus who states that Skylax the Karyandian began in Kaspatyros to trace the path of Indus River from the mountains to where it drained in the sea.
4. Kaspatyros may be same as Kaspa-pyrus or Kashyapa-pura (city of Kashyapa) in other texts.
BTW, Kashmir wool for sweaters comes from this area.
(And now also from China, Mongolia and Pakistan and a couple of other nearby
countries.)
Also, Kronos, the most powerful of the Greek titans used Mount Olympus as his throne. After Zeus overthrew Kronos (his father) he became the ruler of Mount Olympus. So similarly, Kashyapa is said to live in Mount Meru and Kashmir.

Caspian Sea
and Karakum Desert
The Caspian Sea is the world’s
largest inland body of water. It lies between Russia in the north and Iran in
the south. It contains 1/3 of the worlds’ inland water.
The area of the Caspian Sea
was originally populated by the Indo-European Aryan race. They were a
nomadic tribe and the Caspian Sea name derives from these people
who were known as the Kaspi people. It would make sense that the Caspian
Sea was named after the people of Kashyap (Kashyapa) who
was also the husband of the Goddess Danu (of Europe) who these Indo-European
Aryan race also worshipped!!! (See Chapter 15h). These Kaspi people
were also known as the Yamnaya.
It was this Indo-European Aryan race
who moved into North India and settled there and shared their culture and
religion with the Indians.
The funny thing is that it is the
Vedic/Hindu names and events that are being transmitted throughout the world
and not the Indo-European Aryan nor the Indo-Iranian Aryan names
and events, even though they both share the similar names of GODs and
historical events with the Hindus?
I think maybe my next Chapter will cover
and explain most of these questions.
Discussion
- It is amazing that there is so much evidence of Vedic and Hindu history available out there.
- This history comes in the form of written texts, names of places, names of rivers, traditions of different cultures and the actual names of the GODs and religious functions practiced.
- One just has to read all the facts and put the puzzle together.
*** My next Chapter
will be a Revelation that some might disagree with me or some will be greatly intrigued!
