Introduction
- I am intrigued by the correlations that I am seeing so I figured this is a good topic to write.
- I am quite convinced that there are connections between the Sumerian Anunnaki, the Bible’s giants and Star Wars the movie.
- I will explain in this chapter.
- I will also look into Marvel Comics’ ShangDi and Kukulkan characters.
Explaining the names
1. Anak – In the Bible - Is the ancestor to the Anakim, the Giants and the Nephilim (the Fallen Angels). Originally, they were based on Mount Hernon between Lebanon and Syria. In the Sumerian texts the Igigi also, were stationed on Mount Hernon and they were also the Giants (Aliens).
2. Anak Secret Society - Founded in 1908, ANAK's purpose is "to honor outstanding juniors and seniors who have shown both exemplary leadership and a true love for Georgia Tech University". The society's name refers to Anak, a biblical figure said to be the forefather of a race of Giants. Notable members include Jimmy Carter, Bobby Dodd, Ivan Allen Jr., and most of Georgia Tech's presidents. 3. Anakim – The Old Testament of the Bible clearly describes the Anakim people as the Giants (Nephilim/Rephaim, etc.) in the region around Israel. (see Deuteronomy 1:26-28, 2:10, 21; 9:2 - Joshua 11:22, 14:15, 15:13, 21:11 - Numbers 13:33 - 1 Samuel 17:4-7 - 2 Samuel 21:15-22). Goliath will be considered an Anakim. Also, Rapha the ancestor of Goliath and Saph the brother of Goliath and many others. It is reported that the Nephilim's were 7ft to 9ft tall. (From https://www.gotquestions.org/Anakim.html).
4. Anakin – Anakin Skywalker is a young boy in the Star Wars story who has above human powers (“the Force”) who then grows up to become the evil Darth Vader under unfortunate circumstances.
5. Anunnaki – The aliens who came to Earth in the Sumerian stories (they started the first human civilization including Adam, Noah, Abraham and the Garden of Eden – they came from most probably the Sirius star system). The Dogon tribe in Mali, Africa claims that their visitors from space came from Sirius B system and the Dogon also knew many details of Sirius B that could only be confirmed with modern equipment later in the 1900s.
6. Vader – The Indo-European Aryan race’ word Pitar becomes Pater, Padre, Father, Vater and also Vader in Greece, Spain, England and Germany. So, Vader really means Father in Old German language. And Darth means Dark in Old German. So, Darth Vader in the Star Wars movie really means Dark Father. BTW the Aryan race’ Supreme God (Deus Pitar = “GOD the Father”) is also known as Jupiter in Rome, Zeus in Greece and Thor in Germany.
So, did George Lucas come up with the name Darth Vader on purpose???

Funny thing here (at least for me) is that Star Wars stories was actually a Geoge Lucas’ (movie producer) creation. George Lucas created the movie script for the first Star Wars release in 1977 (Episode IV – A New Hope). George then gives the script to a Sci-Fi writer (Alan Dean Foster) to create a book novel out of the movie script. Usually, the book is written first and then Hollywood decides to make a movie out of the book.
So, what I see here is the possibility that George Lucas was referencing the Bible and the Sumerian texts to make the Star Wars movie script. Was it coincidental? Or was it on purpose?
Kukulkan – Marvel Movie - Black Panther 2
Kukulkan is a name given to the King of Talokan, also known as Namor, in the Marvel movie Black Panther 2. He is the ruler of the underwater kingdom of Talokan in the movie.
In history on the other hand, Kukulkan is a Mayan deity in Mesoamerica who the Mormon church also references. This Mayan Kukulkan is also known as Ningishzida in Sumer and Thoth in Egypt.
The tradition of Kukulkan with the Maya, Astec and Inca tribes all call out Kukulkan as a “White”, “Bearded” man wearing something like a robe (or maybe a cape?). This was a great advantage for the Spanish invaders in the 1500s because the Mesoamericans considered the Spanish as their returning GOD and did not directly fight these Spanish invaders in the beginning. Not until they realized that the Spanish invaders were enslaving them, working them to death and stealing all their gold.
The ancient tradition says that when Kukulkan left Mesoamerica (from the Yucatan peninsula), he said that he would be returning. This is the real topic of the movie “2012” which was not clearly discussed. The Mayan calendar ends in December 2012 (and then resets just like the Hindu calendar), so Kukulkan might be returning then. Also, the Mormon church is connecting Kukulkan with Jesus.
Something people do not know about is that the Mayan calendar system and the Hindu calendar system both started pretty much at the same time!
The Hindu Kali Yuga period started on 3120 BC
The Mayan Fifth Great Cycle period started on 3114 BC
The ancient Mayan and Hindu cultures also share many other things such as board games, making of cloth and even Sanskrit words!
ShangDi – Marvel Movie - Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
In the Marvel movie, Shang-Chi was created by writer Steve Englehart and artist Jim Starlin for Marvel Comics in 1973. He was A mortal human martial artist. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (movie), he becomes the wielder of the mythical Ten Rings, which gives him superhuman abilities.
ShangDi on the other hand is an ancient Chinese deity. He is also known as just Di, Tian, Yellow Emperor, Jade Emperor (in Chinese Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism) or really, he is the Supreme GOD/GOD of Heaven like Zeus.
The Oracle Bones – ancient Chinese writings made on turtle shells
The Chinese used to write on bones from the shoulder blade of animals and on tortoise shells. These bones with writings were called the Oracle bones. And the type of Chinese writing, I would say is a proto-Chinese script. (see picture above)
The Oracle bones are estimated to be 3,000 to 5,000 years old.
The Shang kings and their diviners used them to ask questions and receive guidance from spirits, including ancestors, nature deities, and the high god Shangdi.

So, I must ask how much time did George Lucas spend on researching the Indo-European Aryan race stories, the Bible and the Sumerian texts before he started to write the Star Wars movie scripts? What was the motivation for George Lucas to even start a project such as the Star Wars saga?
Kukulkan (called Ningishzida in Sumer and Thoth in Egypt) was a busy deity. He is the master architect of the Egyptian pyramids and other features. Kukulkan brought the Olmecs (Africans) and Sumerians and possibly the Hindus (Indian King Maya’s people) to the Americas to also build the Pyramids in Mesoamerica and mine for Gold.
ShangDi is the Supreme GOD in China in the same level as Zeus and Indra.
- The name “Shang” means “Supreme”
- The title “Di” means “GOD or Emperor”.
So ShangDi is a title and not a name. This situation is also similar to the Sumerians.
