Introduction
- Very interesting thing to analyze is of what the Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie said to Swami Krishnanand Saraswati (around 1956), when he was gifted with a copy of the Vedic/Aryan Epic, The Ramayana;
- "We Africans are Cushites (or Kushites) and that the story of the Ramayana was known to the people of Ethiopia!”
- Swami Krishnanand did not expect the Christian Emperor to know the Ramayana.
- Now, the Emperor was Christian, Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, to be exact.
- So why would a Christian Emperor openly declare that a Vedic/Aryan religious book is well read and believed, in the Ethiopian Kingdom?
- While Cush/Kush is the name of Noah’s grandson, this is also the name of the Vedic/Aryan God Rama’s son’s name.
- So, I am going to connect the dots between the Old Testament and the Ramayana in this episode!
Noah after the flood
- Noah had three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
- Ham was sent to rule/populate Egypt and all Africa.
- Ham’s son named Cush/Kush ruled the areas below Egypt, including Ethiopia.
- This is why the Emperor of Ethiopia proudly claimed that “We are Cushites/Kushites”.
The Ramayana
- The Vedic/Aryan GOD Ram/Rama had twin sons. They were Kush and Luv.
- After a great war had ended Ram/Rama assigned his son Kush to rule Africa. So, both the Bible and the Ramayana are associating Africa to the Kingdom of Cush/Kush.
- The ancient Vedic texts in Sanskrit also name the continent of Africa as KushaDweep/KushaDwipa. Meaning “Land of Kush”
- African school textbooks also describe Africans as Kushites.
